K’aute Pasifika Trust recently welcomed community leaders to a fono in Hamilton. The Board and Hub project team gave an update on the Hub Project status, before a wide ranging discussion on unity, inclusivity and priorities for health and youth services in the Waikato region. There was wide-spread agreement on the the need for all Pacific groups to be united and work together to achieve healthier communities. Feedback and outcomes from ethnic specific fono covering 11 Pacific groups held earlier in the year were also presented to the community leaders. For more information about outcomes from the ethnic specific fono, you can download the material collated by Population Health here....
